I am so happy you are here.

My name is Mckenze, I am the owner of The Wax Room, licensed esthetician, certified laser technician, wife and mom to a beautiful baby boy.

I fell in love with the beauty industry at a young age. I loved makeup and still do. I grew up dancing and performing so I think that had a lot to do with it. The beauty industry was calling my name but little did I know what it had in store for me. Waxing... not makeup. With 6 years of full body waxing expertise, my passion for waxing is beyond the physical or technical skill, it's the education I can provide and human connections I value most.

Where it all started

I opened The Wax Room in March 2019. I operated out of a single salon suite 5 days a week, by myself. I documented my journey on Instagram in between educating our audience about the benefits of waxing. After a year and a half, I was longing to give more women a positive body waxing experience and the camaraderie a team provides. The idea to expand the business and build a team of amazing women with a similar mission, came to fruition. In November 2021, we opened our beautiful storefront location here is Surprise, Az.
